Evidently, corporate fitness is not geared towards resolving one specific issue but a number of concerns that employees may experience in the workplace. Too often are employees unfamiliar with a policy due to a failure by management to disclose the necessary information. For instance, certain employees may be uncertain when they can take days off of work, which can cause them to work several hours during certain periods. This increased workload eventually leads to a downward spiral that includes stress, lack of sleep, poor eating and multiple health risks in general.

How does an organization integrate a corporate fitness program into its framework? It is actually not as easy as one would presume. First and foremost, an organization needs to figure out the issues that employees are currently facing. This understanding will then help an organization recognize the root of the problems. Once the issues are put into perspective, programs can be integrated to help resolve some of the most frequent issues. For instance, if employees are complaining that they are not getting enough exercise, it would only make sense to offer some sort of perk to those who visit the gym a certain number of times each week. Ultimately, it is up to the organization as a whole to promote a comfortable working environment that aims to appease all employees.
